PHILADELPHIA, JEFFERSON CO. -- A Jefferson County man is accused of injuring his 4-month-old child.

State police arrested 24-year-old Preston Spencer, of the Philadelphia Court Apartments, on one count of assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say he hit his baby girl last June, causing bruising to her head. Child Protective Services later removed the child from the home.
