The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for parts of our area. Right now there are tornado warnings for the following areas: Northwestern Chenango County and Southeastern Cortland county. This is in effect until 4:15 AM.
The National Weather Service is also issuing a flash flood warning for Chenango County, Madison County, Broome County, and Oneida County until 9:30AM. National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated an area of excessive rainfall headed for the warned area. Several hours of additional heavy rainfall combined with already saturated conditions will create flash flooding conditions across the warned area.
