ALBANY (AP) -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo says he and his top aides will tour the state to push priorities including gay marriage, a tax cap and ethics reform in Albany.
The tours to local media markets will start next week and continue over the next six weeks of the legislative session.
Cuomo says he'll be promoting his proposals to legalize gay marriage, cap the growth in property taxes at 2 percent a year, pass a tougher ethics bill and other measures.
A schedule will soon be released. Cuomo will make many of the stops. Others will be made by Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy and Cuomo's commissioners and top aides.
Cuomo says he expects to promote his proposals to constituents so their lawmakers will support the measures in Albany.
