AUBURN -- Police in Auburn are asking for the public’s help locating a missing teen.
According to the Auburn Police Department, 15-year-old Ashley M. Klop has not been heard from since Saturday, when she sent a text message to her grandmother. Ashley is described as a 5’ tall female with hazel eyes and black hair, though police say she often changes her hair color. She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black capri pants, multicolored checkered sneakers, and a silver chain necklace with a cross pendant.
Police say Ashley has numerous friends in Auburn and may have been spotted in the area of Owasco Street on Monday with an unknown male. Police say it appears that Ashley’s phone has been turned off.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Ashley Klop is asked to call the Auburn Police Department at 253-3231 or lead investigator Detective Shea at 255-4703.
