Car dealer will match proceeds
A Syracuse-area car dealer is washing cars on this Saturday---all for a good cause. Todd Caputo is staging the benefit car wash at his Sun Auto Warehouse in Cicero, to raise money for tornado relief in the South.
James Hastie, with the CNY Red Cross, says there are six local workers helping with tornado damage cleanup, which will be going on, for months, even though it may be out of our everyday news.
Proceeds from todays car wash, at 8010 Brewerton Rd. in Cicero, will be matched by Caputo. It runs until 5pm---and if you cannot get there and want to donate just include the words 'Caputo carwash' and your contribution will be matched, as well.
