Public invited to watch on Monday night
After starting with 30,000 students, the Drug Quiz Show is down to the final four teams: 16 middle schoolers--four teams-- will compete Monday night for the state championship. Susan Meidenbauer says that in preparing, all participants have learned about drug and alcohol abuse, bullying and more topics that hit home for middle schoolers.
The finals pit CBA against schools from Clinton, Olean and Wayne Counties on Monday night starting at 6pm, at the East Syracuse DoubleTree. The public's invited.
Meidenbauer also says this 25th edition could be the last, unless a corporate sponsor is found. That must be done by early this summer. There is also a Facebook Page set up by former participants, aimed at saving the program.
