ONONDAGA -- Onondaga County sheriff's deputies have arrested a Clay man in a robbery that happened on April 15th.
48-year-old Michael O'Cleary is accused of going into the Nice N Easy on Fay Road in the town of Onondaga and assaulting the store clerk with a baton like club, then stealing money for the cash register. The victim suffered a head injury.
O'Cleary has been charged with robbery, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in court Sunday morning.
