OSWEGO -- An Oswego woman is accused of trying to kill her husband.
65-year-old Sandra Lee Harrington of 183 East Tenth Street is charged with attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Oswego police say around 6:00 p.m. Saturday they responded to the Harrington home and found her husband, 58-year-old James Harrington, had been stabbed. Police say their investigation revealed Sandra Harrington stabbed her husband in the back with a large knife.
Sandra Harrington was taken into custody, charged and brought to the Owego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
James Harrington was taken to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse where he had surgery and is listed in guarded condition.
