VOLNEY, OSWEGO CO. -- A Fulton man is accused of hitting a man in the head with a shotgun.

29-year-old Jacob Butchko, of Pierce Drive Bldg. 13, is charged with menacing, reckless endangerment and assault.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say he hit a man in the head with the barrel of a loaded shotgun, causing the gun to discharge. The man suffered burn wounds and a deep bleeding laceration.

Butchko was released on appearance tickets. He is due to appear in the Town of Volney Court on June 6th.
