Police identify victim
Syracuse police are now identiying the victim in an early morning stabbing on Saturday as 31-year-old Isaiah Sherman of Syracuse.
EARLIER VERSION:
Syracuse Police are investigating an early Saturday morning stabbing on South Geddes Street.
They say a 31 year old man was hit, several times, about 2:35am as he was trying to break up a fight in the 700 block. Investigators say he was attacked by a group of 10 to 15 hispanic men and women.
The victim is now at University Hospital in serious but stable condition, after being stabbed in the legs several times. His name is being withheld until family is notified.
