Pentagon, Homeland Security investigating
Lockheed Martin...says it has fought off a major cyber attack.
The big defense contractor...which has the radar facility on Electronics Parkway in Liverpool, says the attack was "significant and tenacious," but that no customer, program or employee personal data had been compromised.
Lockheed, the Pentagon and the Department of Homeland Security issued a statement late Saturday night...saying they are trying to determine the extent of the data breach. and that they are analyzing data and working to recommend ways to address the attack and mitigate the problems. Lockheed says effect on timetables on its defense contracts is minimal.
