SANDY CREEK, OSWEGO CO. -- An Oswego man is in the hospital after sheriff's deputies say he lost control of his dirt bike.

It happened Monday around 5:15pm along Caster Coad in the Town of Sandy Creek.

Oswego sheriff's deputies say Corey Reid, 30, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle in a field near his home. Deputies say he lost control and was thrown off the motorcycle.

He was taken by a NY State Police helicopter to Upstate University hospital. Deputies say operator error appears to be a contributing factor to the accident.
