UTICA -- A Utica man was arrested over the weekend after police say he inappropriately touched his fiancee’s daughter.

According to Utica police, on Saturday evening an officer responded to a home on Warren Street for a report of a pit bull on the loose. As the officer was trying to find the dog, he instead found 45-year-old Anthony Dotson of Warren Street and arrested him on an open warrant. Dotson was wanted for allegedly climbing into the bed of his fiancee’s 18-year-old daughter while she was sleeping and touching her in an inappropriate manner. The daughter subsequently told the mother what happened, and they called police.

Dotson was arrested on a charge of forcible touching. He was arraigned in Utica City Court.
