SYRACUSE (AP) -- A court hearing has been postponed for the driver of a double-decker Megabus that smashed into a low bridge in Liverpool, killing four passengers.

The pretrial hearing for 60-year-old John Tomaszewski of Yardville, New Jersey, was originally scheduled for Friday, but Onondaga County officials say it's been adjourned to Monday. Tomaszewski pleaded not guilty last month to criminally negligent homicide charges.

His bus failed to clear a railroad bridge after he made a wrong turn off an interstate highway late at night just outside downtown Syracuse in September.

Tomaszewski's lawyer said he suffered a traumatic brain injury in the wreck. A prosecutor has said he talked with victims' families about whether to seek prison time if Tomaszewski pleads guilty or is convicted at trial.
