SYRACUSE -- Police are investigating a shooting on Syracuse’s south side Thursday night.

According to Syracuse Police, around 11:55 p.m. shots were fired in the area of Oakwood Avenue and East Castle Street. The victims, 20-year-old Karrell Glover of Syracuse and 21-year-old David Kirby of Syracuse, tell police they were driving on the 500 block of Oakwood when multiple shots were fired at their car. Glover sustained a gunshot wound to the back, and Kirby was hit in the left eye. Golver was able to drive to Upstate University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the victims were unable to provide any information about a suspect. If anyone can help with the investigation, they are asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
