Mass at St. Malachy's in Sherburne will be his first
James Schulz ordained in Syracuse
A new priest is being ordained for the Diocese of Syracuse.
James Shultz, from Sherburne, has spent a pastoral year at St. John the Evangelist in New Hartford. Saturday morning, during the ordination mass at Syracuse's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, he'll find out where he will be assigned.
Shultz will celebrate his first Mass on Sunday at 2pm, at his home parish, St. Malachy's in Sherburne, and all are welcome.
