FULTON --
Three people are accused of selling counterfeit goods from a Fulton discount store.
Last Thursday, State Police executed a search warrant at the B&V Discount store on West Broadway Street.
Investigators say they seized more than 800 counterfeit items, including purses, New York Yankees sweatshirts and t-shirts, North Face jackets and sweatshirts, Ugg boots and Syracuse University sweatshirts. Police say they also seized two thermal transfer presses commonly used to illegally transfer counterfeit trademark logos onto clothing.
The store clerk, 53-year-old Cynthia Bukolt, and the store manager, 38-year-old Kevin Patch, both of Fulton, were arrested along with the store owner, 66-year-old Brian Patch, of Vermont. All three are charged with trademark counterfeiting, a felony.
They were all issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in the City of Fulton Court on Thursday.
