WATERTOWN -- State Police say a northern New York man used his dead father's credit cards to ring up more than $13,000 in credit debt.

52-year-old Shawn D. Henry is charged with felony counts of grand larceny, identity theft and fraud for making purchases on three different credit cards belonging to his father between 2008 and 2010. Albert N. Henry died in July 2008.

Shawn Henry, who now lives in Cape Vincent on the shore of Lake Ontario, was arrested Tuesday. He is scheduled to return to Watertown city court on June 21. His lawyer did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
