Starting today, you may run into some road closures around the Syracuse University area. Construction is getting underway on the first phase of the Connective Corridor Project.
This will involve reconstruction of University Avenue between Waverly Avenue and East Genesee Street. Construction will include lane closures and possible block closures. During this phase of the project, there will be no on-street parking on University Avenue.
Construction and restrictions will be in place starting today, June 13th, through November 30th.
