UTICA -- A Utica woman is facing felony DWI charges under Leandra's Law, accused of driving drunk with a child in the car.
Around 8:26 p.m. Friday, Utica police responded to the scene of a crash on the 2100 block of Bleecker Street.
Police say 27-year-old Lauren Zindell, of Catskills, slammed into a parked car in the parking lot of the Masonic Home. They say she had a 2-year-old child in the car at the time of the crash.
Zindell is now charged with aggravated DWI, a felony, under Leandra's Law. She is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
