MANLIUS -- Manlius police are cracking down on aggressive driving.

The campaign begins Wednesday and will run through June 20th.

Police will be out in force looking for drivers speeding, tailgating, failing to stop at stop signs and red lights, failing to yield the right of way to pedestrians and talking on their cell phones.

Police will focus their efforts on State Route 92, East Genesee Street and North Burdick Street, but they will be monitoring other spots as well.

Police hope the crackdown will promote traffic safety and decrease accidents.
