Paving work on Route 5 in Elbridge begins today and will continue through July 8th. The highway project will reduce the busy road to one lane, with flaggers directing the alternating one way traffic. I-81 Southbound: Reduced to two lanes from South Bay Road to Route 11 (Mattydale) from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. then reduced to one lane (left and center lanes closed) from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Tuesday, June 21, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m.
Onondaga Lake Parkway (Route 370): Closed in both directions between I-81 and Old Liverpool Road. Traffic will be detoured to Old Liverpool Road during the closure.

Route 5 between Ike Dixon Road and the Cayuga County line: Reduced to one lane with alternating one-way traffic directed by flaggers.

I-81 Southbound: Reduced to two lanes, left lane closed approaching and crossing over the I-90 (New York State Thruway) Bridge. Access to and from Exit 25A (I-90) will be maintained.

U.S. Route 11 Northbound: Reduced to two lanes, Left lane closed from Sand Road to the split with South Bay Road in Mattydale at which point there will be a lane shift to a right lane closure which will reduce travel to one lane, approaching and crossing under the I-81 overpass in Mattydale. Access to and from I-81 north will be maintained.

N.Y. Route 695 Southbound Ramp: On-ramp from State Fair Blvd. in Lakeland to NY 695 Southbound is closed to all traffic.
Details for the signed Detour: Proceed Westbound on State Fair Blvd. for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn right onto I-690 Eastbound at ramp just before overpass, continue east to Exit 6 (Route 695 Southbound).
Ramp Paving
Continuous (24 hours a day/7 days a week) from June 17 to June 30, 2011.
I-690 Westbound Ramp: On-ramp from State Fair Blvd. in Lakeland to I-690 Westbound will be closed to all traffic from June 17 to June 30
Details for the signed Detour follow: Proceed Westbound on State Fair Blvd for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto I-690 Westbound ramp just past the overpass.

Culvert Replacement

Route 90 Northbound and Southbound: Single lane alternating direction traffic controlled by temporary 3 color traffic signal, south of Wells Street between the two Wells College Campus driveways in the Town of Ledyard.

Bridge Repair
Continuous (24 hours a day/7 days a week) now through approximately June 30, 2011.
I-81 Northbound Mainline: Left lane closed approaching and crossing under the Bartell Road Bridge at Exit 31 (Brewerton) and over the Barge Canal/Oneida Lake Outlet Bridge in Brewerton. Access to and from Exit 31 (Bartell Road-Brewerton) will be maintained.

Continuous (24 hours a day/7 days a week) now through approximately June 30, 2011.
I-81 Southbound: Reduced to one lane of travel, left and center lanes closed,
approaching and crossing over the Barge Canal/ Oneida Lake Outlet Bridge in
Brewerton.
