Skaneateles, Marcellus bartenders accused of serving alcohol to minors

Bartenders from The Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles and the Village Tavern in Marcellus are accused of serving alcohol to minors.

On Sunday, State police conducted an Underage ID enforcement detail in the Towns of Elbridge, Skaneateles, Camillus, Marcellus and Geddes. Police checked 10 taverns/bars and 9 retail establishments serving or selling alcohol.

Police arrested 58-year-old Thomas Brennan III, a bartender at The Sherwood Inn and 20-year-old Rosalie Johns, a bartender at the Village Tavern in Marcellus. Both are charged with one count of unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sales of alcohol to a person under 21.

Brennan is scheduled to appear in the Town of Skaneateles Court on July 13th. Johns is scheduled to appear in the Town of Marcellus Court on June 26th.
