The schools are included in Newsweek's America's Best High Schools list
Four Central New York high schools are among the best in the country.
Newsweek compiled its list of America's Best High Schools using categories meant to determine which schools are most successful at creating college-ready students. Experts analyzed six components: graduation rate, college matriculation rate, AP tests taken per graduate, average SAT/ACT score, AP/IB/AICE scores, and AP tests offered. The top 500 made the list.
Locally, New Hartford ranks at 171, Skaneateles came in at 280, Clinton is at 423, and Hamilton makes it in at 496.
