It started with a man punching a car driver
Oneida Sheriffs Deputies have arrested a man and woman from Rome--they say they have a child together--after a wild chase on Saturday evening.
It apparently started with a domestic dispute. 27 year old Becky Lynch from Spadafora Avenue in Rome was driving, and was punched in the face several times, while on Route 840 in Whitestown last night about 9:45pm. Deputies say that 29 year old Jonathan Green, from Laurel Street in Rome, then got out of the car and she reportedly chased him across several yards in the Ford Explorere, damaging lawns and ending up in a ditch.
The couple then tried to free the car, and when deputies showed up, they ran into the woods--and were chased on foot til caught. She faces DWI, criminal mischief and more charges. He is charged with assault.
