HANNIBAL -- A Fulton man is accused of breaking into a barn and stealing equipment and scrap metal.

25-year-old Bart Gauger, of 691 CR 3, Lot 1, is also accused of throwing large metal objects from the back of a moving truck, hitting another car. He's charged with burglary, grand larceny and reckless endangerment.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say he broke into a barn in the Town of Hannibal on June 16th.

He's locked up now at the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bail bond. He's due back in the Town of Hannibal Court on July 5th.

Gauger is also facing charges in a May incident in Fulton, where he's accused of stealing vehicle parts and sewage pipe from a business. In that case, he's charged with criminal possession of stolen property. He was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and sent to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond. In that case, he's due to appear in the Town of Granby Court on July 11th.
