Police: Taberg Man Charged In Domestic Dispute

A Taberg man is facing charges after Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies say he got into a fight with his live-in girlfriend. It happened Sunday, around 7:30 p.m. in Town of Annsville.

According to deputies, Stephan Marek, 50, got into a fight with his girlfriend.  Deputies say it became physical, and Marek  began choking the woman.

She eventually escaped and was able to call authorities.

Marek was charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Unlawful Imprisonment, & Harassment.  He was remanded to the Oneida County Jail In lieu of $500 bail.
