SKANEATELES -- A two-year-old boy who fell in Skaneateles Lake Saturday has died from his injuries.

According to Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies, around 6:10 p.m. Saturday authorities were dispatched to West Lake Street regarding a drowning. They say family members reported that two-year-old Cameron Kenan had been missing for about five minutes before he was found in the water.

Kenan was taken to Auburn Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, where he was pronounced dead about 18 hours after he was found off his grandparents' waterfront property on Skaneateles Lake.

Sheriff's investigators say the boy's death was considered accidental. Skaneateles Lake is approximately 15 miles southwest of Syracuse.

Kenan is the son of Steven and Julie Abbott-Kenan, who used to be a co-host on WSYR-TV's "Bridge Street" show.
