SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating an overnight shooting.

It happened just after midnight along the 100 block of Croly Street.

A 14-year-old boy told police he was walking when he heard what sounded like a pop, then immediately felt pain in his wrist. He walked home and called police.

The boy was later transported to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues. If you have any information, call the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at (315) 442-5222.

The idea of a curfew for young people has been discussed many times in recent years. Do you think that would be a good way to prevent something like this from happening? Leave your thoughts below.
