PHOENIX -- Three Phoenix men are facing charges in a strong arm robbery that happened on Memorial Day.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. On May 31st on Culvert Street in the Village of Phoenix.
Police say the victim and a friend were walking when they were approached by a group of men. Investigators say one of them men approached the victim, punching him in the head and knocking him to the ground. They say another man kneed the victim in the head while the third went through the victim's pocket, stealing $140.
The victim suffered contusions and lacerations to his head, face and back and had his glasses broken.
20-year-old Anthony Darling, of 122 Lock Street, 19-year-old William Seymour, of 412 County Rt. 10, and 19-year-old Adam Hart, of 68 Cherry Street, are charged with robbery and assault.
