State Police, FAA now investigating
A small plane crash in under investigation in Jefferson County. State Police say it happened about 3:30 on Friday, when a single engine fixed wing plane was landing at a private airstrip of County Route 77 in the Town of Adams. Troopers say the plane touched down, but then veered off the right side of the runway and hit a field roller, flipping over. Two of the three aboard were brought to Syracuse, but their injuries are not considered life threatening. The FAA and State Police continue investigating the crash.
