A Phoenix woman has died from drowning at her son's summer home in Macomb.
State Police say on Friday, Sean Johnson found his mother, 65 year-old Kathleen Johnson, underwater when he went to check on her at his seasonal home at the shore of Black Lake on Mineral Point Road.
Police say Mr. Johnson found his mother between the structure frame of a manual boat lift. Police say Johnson's mother had been staying alone at the residence for the past two weeks and he had been unable to reach her for several days.
The St. Lawrence County Coroner's office determined Johnson had died from drowning, and the death was ruled as accidental.
