Four sessions planned on saving money
Seniors who are looking to stretch their money can get some help, with information seminars. Joanne Spoto-Decker, who's director of community services for the Onondaga County's Department of Aging and Youth, says the hour long sessions will have information on Medicare Prescription Drug and Part B savings, and will also have help on income-stretching programs like HEAP (Home Energy Assistance) and SNAP (Food Stamps).
The programs are free, and open to seniors, family members and caregivers:
July 20 (Wednesday) Cicero Library, 10:30 - 11:30
July 26 (Tuesday) Westcott Community Center, 1:30 - 2:30
August 2 (Tuesday) Jordan-Elbridge Community Center 1 - 2pm
August 19 (Friday) B'ville Canton Woods Senior Center 1 - 2pm
