Mark Richter is charged with aggravated DWI and vehicular manslaughter

SYRACUSE -- A man accused in a deadly drunk driving crash says he's not guilty.

Mark Richter was arraigned in Onondaga County Court in Syracuse Wednesday on several charges, including aggravated DWI and vehicular manslaughter. Prosecutors say Richter was driving drunk on Grampian Road in Clay when he crashed, killing the mother of his child, 23-year-old Debra Brown, of Liverpool.  Their young son was also hurt in the crash.

Richter is scheduled to be back in court on August 11th.

If Richter is eventually convicted, what do you think the punishment should be? Leave a comment below to share your thoughts.
