Victim says it was a drive-by shooting
Syracuse Police found a 23 year old woman, shot in the torso, on Syracuse's Northside early Sunday morning, and now are asking the public's help in the investigation. The woman--who is not being identified--has apparently non-life threatening injuries. Police say they were called to the 200 block of South Alvord Street, about 2:55am, and the woman told them she was walking on the nearby 300 block of Seward Street, and she things the shots came from a vehicle that was driving past her. Syracuse Police ask anyone with information to call at 442-5222.
