OSWEGO -- Oswego Harborfest is underway. The annual waterfront festival runs though Sunday. The big event tonight is the performance by Barenaked Ladies who will be featured at the stage at Breitbeck. The music this evening begins at 7:30 with opening act Frostbit Blue.
Tomorrow evening of course is the big fireworks show over the harbor.
Now organizers want to remind you that parking will be a challenge, and that all parking reulations on city streets will be strictly enforced. Harborfest visitors are encouraged to use the two main parking lots.
On the west side of the city, you can park on the SUNY Oswego campus. On the east side parking is available at the East Cayuga Street parking lot adjacent to the East Side Fire Station. Parking at those lots is $10 and includes two all access troley buttons. Additional trolly buttons can be purchased for $3.
A reminder that alcohol will be sold in both Breitbeck Park and East Park. The city;s open container law will be stricly enforced. for more detaisl check out the Harborfest website.
