UTICA -- A Utica woman is accused of punching a police officer.

The trouble started around 2 a.m. Sunday when police were called to a domestic dispute on the 1100 block of Schuyler Street.

Police say 19-year-old Kuya Sessoms, of James Street, got into a fight with a man and punched him. When police tried to take her into custody, she allegedly punched Officer Michael Clive.

Police eventually arrested her, but when they tried to put her in the police car, she allegedly raised her legs up against the car, pushing away from the car. After she was finally put in the car, police say Sessoms started kicking the officer several times.

She's charged with harassment and resisting arrest.
