SYRACUSE -- We're less than a month from SU's season opener against Wake Forest.
But in just the last week, off-the-field trouble is causing more than enough headaches for head coach Doug Marrone.
Last Friday, sophomore running back Prince-Tyson Gulley was stabbed at party on SU's South Campus. A teenager has been charged with felony assault in the stabbing. Just a day later, star wide receiver Marcus Sales was arrested with his brother on felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Syracuse.
Today, we learned back-up quarterback Jonny Miller has been arrested for his alleged role in a robbery in Colorado, where he's from.
Head Coach Doug Marrone told the media today Gulley will be able to play in 7-10 days, but both Sales and Miller have been suspended from the team indefinitely.
How do you think SU will deal with these off-the-field problems? Will it be a distraction? What's your prediction for this year's team...can the Orange win the Big East title?
