Expected to recover from injury
An 18-year-old is recovering after being shot along the 2600 block of Midland Avenue in Syracuse.

SYRACUSE -- An 18-year-old is in the hospital after he was shot in Syracuse.
The man was shot while riding his bike along the 2600 block of Midland Avenue near Primrose Avenue on the city's south side, according to Syracuse Police.
The first call for help came shortly after 9:30pm. Police are not releasing the teen's name at this time. They say he was on his bike when multiple shots were fired from a nearby car.
Police are not releasing the teen's name and they are not saying where he was shot. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is expected to recover.
