The Syracuse Ceramic Guild is staging its 31st Pottery Fair --and again it will be interactive, with lots of pottery-related activities for both adult and children spectators.
Denise Dowdall says the 'Claytown' exhibit will be back, with better quality clay, so children can make a more lasting souvenir.
Adults can glaze raku-style pottery for firings, and see demonstrations of other pottery making techniques, and firings as well.
Stone Quarry Hill Art Park, off Route 20 east of Cazenovial Village, will again host the two day event, Saturday  (August 20) 10 - 5 and Sunday (August 21) 10 - 4.  Parking is free, $3 for adults, children free.  The Syracuse Ceramic Guild website has details on demonstration times and more.
