Oswego Police have arrested a teen after last Sunday morning's attack on a woman on East Bridge Street.

The 20 year old victim says she was walking near East Third Street about 3:45am, when a man propositioned her.  She reportedly declined, and the suspect  took her cell phone from her hand and tried to snatch her purse.  After a struggle, the woman ran to the Econo Lodge and called 911.

The suspect, 17 year old Matthew Baker, from Mitchell Street in Oswego, was arrested Friday afternoon on robbery charges, and is now in the Oswego County Correctional Facility.  Police have recovered the victim's cell phone.

Oswego Police ask anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at: 315-342-8201.
