OSWEGO CO. -- Oswego County Health officials plan to spray for mosquitoes tonight.
They were originally scheduled to spray Sunday night, but it was postponed due to the wet weather.
Weather permitting tonight, the department will resume aerial spraying at 6 p.m. in part of New Haven, Volney, Hastings, Palermo and Mexico.
Saturday night, officials did aerial spraying over the Toad Harbor/Big Bay Swamp area on the north shore of Oneida Lake.
Right now, health officials are trying to control the spread of Easter Equine Encephalitis, or Triple E.
About a week ago, 4-year-old Maggie Sue Wilcox, of New Haven, died after contracting Triple E.
Recently, a family dog and another horse recently died from the virus.
