AFGHANISTAN -- Another Fort Drum soldier has been killed overseas.
The Department of Defense says 1st Lieutenant Timothy Steele, of Doxbury, Massachusetts, was killed Tuesday in the Kandahar province in Afghanistan. The military says insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
Steele was a member of the 10th Mountain Division. He is survived by his wife, child, mother, and father.
Steele was 25 years old.
