Onondaga County sheriff's deputies are investigating a crash that killed a Syracuse man.

A little before 7 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the scene at the corner of Court Street Rd. and Roxford Rd.

Deputies say Tina Alcaras, 42, of Syracuse, was driving erratically down Court Street Rd., while another car, driven by John Nave, 89, of Syracuse, was trying to make a left onto Roxford Rd.

Deputies say that's when the crash happened.  Nave was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Alcaras was arrested for DWI.  Deputies say speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, and more charges are pending.
