SULLIVAN, MADISON CO. -- State police have arrested Sullivan Town Justice James Roman and charged him with endangering the welfare of a child.

Pollice say the arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred earlier this month on White Bridge Road involving a 15-year-old. Police say Roman acted in a aggressive manner toward the teen, using profanities and subjecting the teen to physical contact.

Roman was issued an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to return to court September 6th.
