EAST SYRACUSE -- The production crew from a popular show on the Food Network is in Central New York right now trying to turn around a struggling restaurant.

The show "Restaurant Impossible" is doing an upcoming episode on McShane's on Kinne Street in East Syracuse.

The show features Chef Robert Irvine and a $10,000 challenge. Irvine must try to turn around the restaurant in just two days with only that amount of money.

McShane's is known all over Central New York for its special seasoned chicken .

The changes could included updating the menu, retraining the staff and making cosmetic changes to the building.
