Take a peek 'behind the scenes'
Auburn's TomatoFest--the 26th edition--is set for next weekend. Tom Tracy, Entertainment Coordinator for the Emerson Park festival, says that besides food, there's almost continuous entertainment Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 10 & 11) 11am - 6pm. There's a free shuttle bus from Auburn High School to Emerson Park.
Food is also a big part of the festival, and there will be a 'chef prepared' dinner with tomatoes as the main ingredients.
The TomatoFest is a benefit for food banks in the Cayuga County area. As Tracy says, giving back to the community, and to people facing rough times right now.
