Staffers at the Solvay clinic that was overwhelmed by abandoned kittens  are putting out a thank you on Saturday:  all thirteen of the kittens are now in foster care.  True Blue Veterinary Health Center began caring for the babies, after they were found abandoned, in a box, near Syracuse's zoo, but they put out the word that they did not have the staff for the round-the-clock care the newborns would need.
A clinic spokesperson tells us the calls offering help and donations were overwhelming once we broadcast the story.
The kittens are in foster care for now, but not all have permanent homes:  some will be available for adoption in four to five weeks.
