Syracuse Police are searching for the driver of a car that crashed into a house early Sunday morning on the city's southside.

Police say shortly after 3 A.M. a male driver crashed a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix into a house on 205 Kenmore Ave.

Police say the driver then fled on foot. A 31 year-old female passenger in the car was treated for back pain at Upstate Medical Center.

Authorities say they do not know if the house was occupied at the time of the crash. Some damage was done to the home's front porch.

The driver of the vehicle is at large.
