LENOX, MADISON CO. -- A Canastota man seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash has died.
47-year-old Greg Risley was critically hurt in the motorcycle crash around 3 p.m. last Wednesday near the intersection of State Routes 31 and 13 in the Town of Lenox.
Madison County Sheriff's deputies say a 16-year-old was traveling northbound on Route 13 when he turned left into the entrance of a parking lot, crossing into the path of a motorcycle.
Risley, who was on the bike, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Oneida Healthcare. He was later transported to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition, where he later died of his injuries.
